French manager selects Dimension

French value investor Metropole Gestion has selected SimCorp’s Dimension system to automate front and middle office activities.

The asset manager, which has €6 billion of assets under management, said it would be streamlining activities in the front and middle office with the system, which is the biggest rival to BlackRock’s Aladdin.

The firm will integrate SimCorp’s solution across its range of equity, fixed income and diversified funds.

Metropole will use Dimension in the front office for various activities, including trade and strategy simulations, and impact assessments.

An’ investment book of record’, or Ibor, functionality will cover portfolio and order management processes, and pre- and post-trade compliance, among other functions that integrate front and middle office activities.
