Franklin Templeton expands multi-asset team

Franklin Templeton Investments has appointed Brendan Walsh as portfolio manager to its multi-asset solutions team in London.

In his new role Walsh will lead the development of the California-based firm’s multi-asset capabilities in the UK.

With over a decade of experience in multi-asset investing, Walsh joins from Aviva Investors where he was a multi-asset fund manager.

Prior to that, he worked at Standard Life Investments as a quantitative analyst and as a research project consultant.

Franklin Templeton portfolio management director Thomas Nelson said: “Brendan brings a wealth of experience in developing and managing multi-asset capabilities allowing us to successfully offer investment and product expertise with a strong client engagement framework.”
