FMG unveils umbrella Sicav

FMG has launched Comino Platform, an umbrella Sicav to be used by third parties seeking to launch their own Professional Investor Fund strategies.

In a statement, the Malta-based asset manager says the Comino fund will enable entities that have “as little as” €1 million in assets under management to set up a fund under a name and investment strategy of their choice.

“In launching Comino Fund, FMG follows in the footsteps of other asset managers that have moved to take advantage of Malta’s regulatory structure, which changes last year to better accommodate umbrella structures,” the statement says.
