European pension funds to increase ETF investment

Nearly 40% of European pension funds are planning to increase their investment in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the next 12 months, research shows.

The FinEx ETF research finds that 38% of the 144 funds surveyed plan to increase ETF investment this year, with 17% of them saying ETF investment will increase more than 10%.

When asked about their three-year investment plans, 42% of pension funds indicated they would be likely to increase their ETF investments.
