Equity funds see slight rise in October flows

Inflows to equity funds sold under the Ucits banner increased slightly in October over the already positive flows in September.

The funds saw net inflows of €17 billion, up from €14 billion in the month before, according to the European Fund and Asset Management Association.

Bond funds registered net outflows of €1 billion, compared to net outflows of €9 billion a month earlier

Net sales of balanced funds amounted to €8 billion, compared to €5 billion in September.

Long-term Ucits, which excludes money market funds, registered a rise in net inflows to €27 billion, up from €9 billion in September. 

Money market funds, meanwhile, registered reduced net outflows in October of €5 billion, down from €24 billion in September.
