Edmond de Rothschild Group appoints head of sovereign funds

The asset management division of the Edmond de Rothschild Group has appointed Marcus Money-Chappelle as head of sovereign funds, a newly created position.

He joined at the end of September from Hermes Investment Management, where he was responsible for sales in Europe.

In a statement, the asset management branch of Edmund de Rothschild says it is determined to reinforce relationships with sovereign funds, which it considers an essential part of the international financial scene.

Money-Chappelle is based in London and will be in charge of strengthening relationships with sovereign funds. He reports to Florence Dard, head of European institutional sales and sovereign funds.

Over the past 16 years, his main clients have been sovereign funds, supranational entities, pension funds and family offices.
