Eaton Vance appoints credit portfolio manager

Eaton Vance Management (International) has hired Dónal Kinsella as a portfolio manager for corporate credit strategies aimed at institutions.

Kinsella, who is based in London and joins from Janus Henderson Investors, is Eaton Vance’s first institutional portfolio manager “on the ground”, the firm said.

The appointment is described as an expansion of the firm’s credit strategies for investors based in Europe, Asia and Australia, and with an emphasis on global high yield, leveraged loan and multi-asset credit strategies.

Kinsella reports to Christopher Remington, director of income product and portfolio strategy.

“This is a critical, strategic appointment for the company and will further our growth potential outside of the US,” said Remington.
