Aztec focuses on tech after private equity promotions

Aztec Group’s Matt Horton has been appointed as group head of private equity in a round of promotions at the fund administrator that suggest a higher focus on technology.

Horton joined the firm in 2010 and has been head of private equity in Guernsey since 2016.

Alan Ross, the previous group head of private equity, remains with the business, becoming group head of transformation which is expected to lead to greater implementation of automated processes and integration of platforms.

Ross has been with the firm since 2006, joining in Aztec Group’s Jersey office. Filling Horton’s previous role in Guernsey is Gavin Harman, who has been with the firm since 2017.
