Baytree Logistics Properties – the pan-European logistics and industrial development platform of Axa Investment Managers Real Assets – has appointed Philippe Rouge as head of France.
Joining from Quartus, a logistics contractor and developer, Rouge will be responsible for securing land opportunities and constructing buildings for developers and owner-occupiers.
Prior to Quartus, Rouge worked for GSE and DTZ Asset Management.
Rouge replaces François de La Rochefoucauld, who is retiring having led the business since its inception in 2015. Based in Paris, Rouge reports directly to Baytree managing director Rabih Modad.
Modad said Rouge’s “experience and track record in the French logistics space” will enable Baytree to increase its development portfolio.
