Aviva Investors expands real assets team with Europe head

Aviva Investors has appointed a head of continental Europe asset management for its property investment business, which is part of a real assets strategy launched last year.

Adrien Beuriot takes up the newly-created and will lead real estate teams in Paris and Frankfurt.

Aviva Investors said the appointment highlights its ongoing investment to “become a leader in pan-European real assets”.

The firm created its real assets division in May 2018 and it now has assets under management to £43 billion (€49 billion), the firm said.

Beuriot will be based in Paris and report to Daniel McHugh, managing director, real estate investment. He has also been appointed director of real estate, France.

He joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management, where he was head of investments, France, since March 2018. He has formerly worked at Standard Life Investments and Axa Real Estate France, among others.
