Aviva Investors expands multi-asset team

Aviva Investors is expanding its multi-asset team with two hires to newly created roles.

Harriet Reeves joins as a multi-asset strategist from Comac Capital, where she was a economic fundamentals analyst covering developed and emerging markets.

The firm also said Iain MacCormick had recently joined as multi-asset implementation manager.

MacCormick joined from Standard Life Investments and his main experience is in derivatives dealing across multiple asset classes.

Aviva Investors Multi-Strategies division, known as Aims, is a main rival to Standard Life Investments’ Global Absolute Return Strategies, or Gars.

The hiring comes in light of Aviva Investors’ announcement that Sunil Khrishnan is to become head of multi-asset funds in October.

Peter Fitzgerald, global head of multi-assets at Aviva Investors said the firm was continuing to grow its multi-asset business.
