Aviva hires co-manager for global equity climate fund

Aviva Investors has hired Andrea Carzana as co-manager of the Aviva Investors Climate Transition Global Equity Fund.

Based in London, he will report to Aviva Investors’ head of equities, Alistair Way, and work alongside the fund’s current manager Max Burns and senior ESG analyst, Rick Stathers.

Burns has been co-managing the fund since July 2021.

Carzana joins the firm from Columbia Threadneedle where he spent seven years as an equities fund manager for ESG and sustainable outcome strategies.

Prior to that he was an insurance equity research analyst at Mediobanca for three years.
