Asset manager reduces UK/Irish fund fees

Dimensional is to reduce management fees across a range of UK and Irish equity and bond funds from May 4.

The firm said the measure would cover 93% of assets under management in its UK and Irish registered funds and would represent a 12% reduction on an asset-weighted basis.

Dimensional said it had a track record of reducing fees and had seen “many reductions” throughout the firm’s history.

As an example of the latest round of reductions, the management fee for the Global Core Equity Fund will fall to 0.22% from 0.25%. The ongoing charges figure (OCF) falls to 0.26% from 0.29%.

In its bond range, the Global Short-Dated Bond Fund’s management fee moves to 0.22% on May 4, falling from 0.23%, and the OCF falls to 0.25% to 0.28%.

“For 40 years, Dimensional has refined, enhanced and advanced its investment solutions, systems and processes and sought to pass those efficiencies and benefits back to clients,” Nathan Lacaze, co-CEO of Dimensional UK, said.
