Amundi promotes analyst to engagement chief

Amundi has appointed a senior financial analyst from within its own ranks as head of corporate engagement.

Stéphane Taillepied joined Amundi in 1999 and became head of financial analysis in 2002.

The corporate engagement role was previously held by Cédric Laverie, who left Amundi in December.

The job means Taillepied is responsible for maintaining Amundi’s corporate governance policy and increase investor engagement and board transparency at companies which the firm invests in.

Taillepied will report to Amundi’s chief investment officer, Pascal Blanqué.

Amundi is Europe’s largest asset manager with €1.4 trillion.
