RLAM launches US equity fund with low style risk

Royal London Asset Management has launched a US Equity Fund, which the firm says provides wider access to the “market-leading” risk-adjusted performance of its US strategy.

The fund is managed by Chris Parr, who is part of the global equities team.

The US strategy has regularly ranked in the top decile of performance within its peer group, the firm said and the new fund invests in companies across the corporate life cycle to deliver a balanced portfolio with low style risk.

The fund, domiciled in Ireland, is initially available to UK investors, but the firm intends to register the fund in continental European and Asian markets.

Parr said: “The US offers hugely attractive investment opportunities across a variety of sectors and business types. Our approach, which focuses on identifying and investing in companies across the corporate life cycle, is ideally suited to this market, allowing us to deliver consistent outperformance with low style and factor risk.”
