BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has announced a series of appointments and promotions to strengthen its ESG team and investment offering.
Rachel Crossley has been appointed head of stewardship at the firm. A former senior advisor for the Access To Nutrition Initiative, Crossley reports to Michael Herskovich, global head of stewardship at BNPP AM.
Meanwhile, Malika Takhtayeva has been appointed sustainable fixed income lead for Emea, based in London.
Takhtayeva spent the last six years at Moody’s Investors Service as a sustainable finance credit analyst, prior to which she held the position of emerging markets credit analyst at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
Thibaud Clisson has been promoted to climate change lead at BNPP AM, having joined the firm in 2009 as a senior ESG analyst. He will be based in Paris.
Robert-Alexandre Poujade has also been promoted to biodiversity lead at the firm. Poujade joined BNPP AM in 2011 and has been an ESG analyst since 2015, during which time he has focused on natural capital, ocean economies and biodiversity.
Delphine Riou has been appointed inclusive growth lead. She has been at BNPP AM since 2017 where she has worked as an ESG analyst.
Riou has held various similar roles at Natixis and Covéa Finance. She was previously operations officer at IFC/World Bank, a financial controller at PSA Peugeot Citroen group and a sell-side equity analyst at BNP Paribas Equities. She covers the industrial and automobile sectors at the firm.
