Amundi unveils active ESG ‘Improvers’ range

French asset manager Amundi has launched an actively-managed ESG range that aims to capture ESG-related growth potential at an early stage.

The strategy selects companies that demonstrate material progress on ESG, while excluding businesses that do not align with Amundi’s own ESG framework.

Amundi will then actively engage with company management throughout the investment process to build upon a company’s financial and ESG credentials.

The ESG Improvers range currently offers two equity funds: Amundi Funds European Equity ESG Improvers and Pioneer US Equity ESG Improvers, benchmarked against the MSCI Europe Index and the S&P 500 Index respectively.

These sub-funds are registered as Sicavs and are available to institutional and retail investors across Europe and Singapore.
