Aegon AM creates head of diversity

Aegon Asset Management has named Lindsay Hudson, formerly of Invesco, as its first head of inclusion and diversity.

Based in the UK, Hudson will take global responsibility of engaging internally on inclusion and diversity issues, as well as advocating for change outside of the firm.

At Invesco, she was most recently regional head of diversity and inclusion. Hudson is also a steering committee member of the Diversity Project, which promotes diversity across the investment industry.

In this new role, she reports to Jane Daniel, global chief risk and compliance officer, and inclusion and diversity ambassador at the asset manager.

Her appointment will see her join Aegon AM’s senior management group and work closely with the management board.

Daniel said: “Becoming more inclusive and diverse is not only a key objective for our business but a duty to the societies in which we live and work.”
