Independent investment consultant Redington has appointed Torsten Köpke to the new role of director in the global assets team.
Köpke, who joined the firm permanently at the end of last year, has worked with and advised senior executives at a number of asset managers, insurance companies and investment consultants, including roles at Aon Hewitt and Willis Towers Watson.
Most recently he served as managing director at New York-based private equity firm Silverfern. He has over 20 years’ experience in investment strategy and governance structure.
According to Redington, his appointment is representative of the business’ aim to build on its European and international client base.
In 2018 the firm announced appointments by Norwegian wealth manager Forvaltningshuset as its investment adviser, and Icelandic securities firm Fossar Markets, to whom it provides access to Redington’s global investment manager research platform.
