AMX makes two key appointments in Ireland

The Asset Management Exchange (AMX), an institutional platform for investors and asset managers, has made two key appointments to its Cork office.

Edel Coughlan has joined the firm as an investment funds lawyer.

Coughlan’s primary focus will be advising on the establishment, maintenance and governance of investment funds under the AIFMD and Ucits regimes.

She has previously worked in similar roles at BNYM, AQR, Fidelity and Dillon Eustace.

Nicola Gerety has joined as a business development officer and will be responsible for leading and developing the firm’s management company offering and business development in Ireland. She will split her time between Dublin and London.

Gerety has previously worked at JP Morgan, Wellington Management International and AllianceBernstein.
