Fidelity poaches JPMAM sales manager

Fidelity International has added to its wealth manager sales team with the appointment of Andy McNulty to the new role of sales director.

He joins from JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) where he has been regional sales manager and client adviser in the north of England for the last ten years, focusing on national discretionary fund managers.

Reporting directly to head of UK wholesale sales Nick McDowell, McNulty will be responsible for the firm’s clients in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the north of England.

Before JPMAM, McNulty held similar sales roles at Legg Mason and Invesco. He has over 25 years’ industry experience.

John Clougherty, the asset manager’s head of wholesale, said: “It’s been another strong sales year for Fidelity’s UK wholesale team with increased gross sales across a broad range of sectors.”

Clougherty welcomed the appointment, saying McNulty brings with him well-established client relationships in Scotland and the north of England.
