Quoniam chief executive steps down

The chief executive of quantitative asset manager Quoniam is stepping down after more than 20 years of service, citing personal reasons.

Helmut Paulus, one of the co-founders of the German firm, saw assets under management increase to more than €30 billion during his time with company.

He will be replaced by Nikolaus Sillem, who previously served as a member of the company’s supervisory board before giving up the post in March this year.

Quoniam manages equity, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies and employs over 120 people across Frankfurt and London.
