Aviva Investors hires UK consultant relations chief

Aviva Investors has named Stephen Castle as its new head of UK consultant relations.

Castle will be responsible for managing and developing the firm’s network of consultant relationships across the UK market, Aviva Investors said in a statement.

In the newly-created role, Castle will report to Roger Price-Haworth, head of UK institutional and global consultants.

With an 18-year record in client relations, Castle most recently served as a senior business development manager at Pictet Asset Management for five years. Prior to that, Castle also had sizeable stints at Legal & General Investment Management and The Bank of New York.

Commenting on Castle’s appointment, Price-Haworth said: “As we continue to grow Aviva Investors’ institutional business, developing our consultant engagement and partnership programme will be increasingly important at a global and regional level.”

Aviva Investors had £348 billion (€404.3 billion) in assets under management as of June 2018, the firm said.
