Inflows into global ETF market maintained in July

Inflows into global exchange-traded funds (ETFs) amounted to €39 billion in July, of which €28 billion went into the US market.

According to figures published by the French asset manager Amundi, July’s inflows brought total global inflows for the seven months to July to €229.5 billion.

Investment flows into European ETFs increased but remained modest in July at €4 billion, of which €1.9 billion went into equity ETFs.

 US equity ETFs saw inflows in July of €1.79 billion while eurozone ETFs attracted €243 million.

Currency-hedged global equity ETFs saw outflows of €842 million in July euros while emerging market ETFs lost €392 million euros.
