Saxo hires central and eastern Europe CEO

Multi-asset trading and investment fintech specialist Saxo Bank has hired Vitali Butbaev as chief executive for central and eastern Europe.

He replaces Pavel Drahotsky.

Butbaev was previously founder and chief executive officer of Velstand Capital.

He will report to Damian Bunce, chief client officer of Saxo Bank. 

Butbaev will be based in Saxo Bank’s office in Prague.
