DWS hires private equity CFO

DWS (formerly Deutsche Asset Management) has appointed Neel Mehta chief financial officer of its global private equity business.

Mehta, who will be based in London, will lead the fund finance and accounting functions, working alongside the senior investment team as the regulated manager for the private equity secondary opportunities fund programme.

Mehta was previously finance director at Mayfair Equity Partners.

This follows the appointment of Daniel Green, head of Europe, Middle East and Africa private equity, in January of this year.

DWS Group has €676 billion in assets under management.
