Intertrust names chief operating officer

Intertrust has appointed Theo Splinter as its chief operating officer and has also appointed him to the firm’s executive committee.

In the newly-created role based at Intertrust’s Amsterdam head office, Splinter will have global responsibility for operations, information technology, change management and procurement across the trust and corporate management firm.

Splinter has over 20 years of experience and previously worked at BNP Paribas, where he was chief operating officer for security services.

Prior to joining BNP Paribas in 2015, he worked for five years at Credit Suisse, latterly as managing director for prime services and chief operating officer of hedge fund services.

Splinter started his career at Citco Fund Services, where he held several executive roles, and has worked in Australia, India, Ireland, Luxembourg and Singapore as well as the Netherlands.
