Investment manager James Hambro & Partners has recruited Asian specialist Camilla Cecil as a portfolio manager based in London.
She joins the newly-created position from Hong Kong, where she was deputy fund manager of the Ruffer Pacific fund.
Cecil will work with US and global equity specialist William Francklin to recommend stocks for client portfolios and look after international and UK-based clients investing in global mandates.
Chief executive Andy Steel said: “The Hong Kong and Japan markets still look relatively cheap on the world stage, especially when compared with US valuations which are looking stretched against most historic measures.”
James Hambro & Partners has nearly £3 billion (€3.4 billion) in assets under management.
