Fulcrum Asset Management hires multi-asset strategist

Fulcrum Asset Management has appointed Marc Semaan, a multi-asset specialist from Aviva Investors.

Semaan becomes Fulcrum’s multi-asset strategist – a newly created role.

At Aviva, Semaan held a similar role in the Aviva Investors Multi-Strategy team.

The appointment of Semaan follows closely on from the June appointment of Graham Neilson as investment director. Neilson joined from Cairn Capital, where he had been chief investment strategist.

Andrew Stevens, Fulcrum’s chief executive said: “We continue to invest in attracting the highest calibre of investment professionals, believing that it is the intellectual rigour which we apply to asset allocation that sets us apart from our peers.”

Fulcrum has assets under management of $6.3 billion (€5.3 billion).
