Guez promoted at Mirova

Paris-based asset manager Mirova has promoted Hervé Guez to head up its equities and fixed income team.

Guez has been responsible investment research chief at Mirova since the company – a subsidiary of Natixis Global Asset Management – was founded in 2012.

In his new role he will be in charge of coordinating Mirova’s fund management teams in Paris and will report to chief executive Philippe Zaouati.

“We seek to consolidate our expertise by strengthening the collaboration between the research and management teams. The appointment of Hervé Guez allows us to better serve our goal of creating added value for our clients, with management that incorporates environmental, social and governance criteria, as we gain in momentum for development in Europe and the US,” comments Philippe Zaouati, Chief Executive Officer of Mirova.

Guez previously worked for ten years as a bond market credit analyst for various companies. He joined Natixis Asset Management in 2007 as a senior credit analyst before becoming head of extra-financial research at Natixis Asset Management in 2008.
