Invesco drafts former Morgan Stanley MD for fixed income team

Invesco Perpetual has enhanced its fixed income division with the recruitment of Thomas Moore, former head of credit analytics and managing director at Morgan Stanley.

Moore will assume the role of senior credit analyst in June this year and will work across Invesco Perpetual’s fixed interest mandates. A spokesperson said his addition followed several internal promotions and changes within the fixed income team over the course of 2015.

Moore has been an investment professional since 1999, starting his career at Orion Consultants. There, he covered the US and a number of international fixed income markets. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2004, and left at the end of last year.

As a result of Moore’s appointment, Invesco Perpetual’s fixed interest team has increased in size to 24 people, who manage assets of £29 billion (€38 billion) in assets across 27 funds.

Overall, Invesco Perpetual manages assets of €102.3 billion.
