Neuberger Berman to distribute funds through Italy’s Fideuram

Signing dealUS asset manager Neuberger Berman has signed a fund distribution partnership with an Italian private bank, Fideuram, gaining access to 5,000 bankers.

Fideuram is part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking group and the deal means Neuberger Berman’s Ucits funds range will be made available to the bank’s clients.

The Ireland-domiciled fund range will be made available through over 5,000 Fideuram and Sanpaolo private bankers, Neuberger said.

Dik van Lomwel, regional head at Neuberger Berman said that the Italian market was important and that the deal was the latest collaboration with the bank since creating a private equity strategic partnership last year.

Paolo Molesini is Fideuram’s chief executive.
