Invesco Perpetual makes two European equity promotions

Invesco Perpetual has promoted two fund managers in its European equities team, which is headed by Jeff Taylor.

Oliver Collin (pictured) will become lead manager of the €629 million Continental European Small Cap Equity fund alongside Erik Esselink. He will also co-manage the €535 million Euro Equity fund with Taylor, which was launched in October and is domiciled in Luxembourg.

Previously, Collin worked at ING Barings in the mid-cap equity space. He has also worked at Berenberg Bank, where he specialised in French mid-cap institutional equity sales, and Exane BNP Paribas, where he led the pan-European mid-cap sales team. He joined Invesco Perpetual in 2014.

Meanwhile, Matthew Perowne will become manager of the €187 million European Opportunities fund, joining lead manager Adrian Bignell. Perowne has served as an analyst with Invesco since 2010.

The promotions will take effect on 31 December 2015.
