France’s Amplegest to merge with SGI Management

Asset manager Amplegest is to merge with wealth manager SGI Group.

In a move approved by France’s financial regulator, the AMF, in October, the two firms will be combined under the Amplegest banner. The new entity will hold €900 million in assets under management.

SGI Group was founded in 1984. The firm provided direct line investment and fund selection services, as well as two funds of its own: Adara and Intermix. The company currently manages around €250 million in assets.

Amplegest was founded in 2007. It currently manages around €650 million in assets, and oversees €450 million in assets for high-net-worth individuals and families.

SGI Group founder Jacques Bruxer will become a shareholder of Amplegest, and join the firm’s supervisory board. The respective teams will be united at the start of next year, at Amplegest’s Paris offices.
