Neuberger Berman hires Christian Puschmann to head client group

Employee-owned investment manager Neuberger Berman has appointed Christian Puschmann as head of client group for Germany and Austria.

Based in the firm’s Frankfurt office, he will report to Dik van Lomwel, head of Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America at Neuberger Berman.

Puschmann has more than 20 years’ experience in the asset management industry, most recently as deputy head of institutional sales at Invesco in Frankfurt. He has also served as chairman of the Investment Consultants Working Group and vice chairman of the Pension Business Committee at the German Asset Management Association (BVI).

“As we continue to deepen client relationships in this important region, it is vital to have experienced professionals with local expertise, Christian brings both,“ says van Lomwel.
