Macquarie appoints head of UK institutional distribution

Macquarie Investment Management (MIM) has made Gillian Evans head of UK institutional distribution. She will be based in the firm’s London office.

Prior to joining MIM, Evans spent ten years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was responsible for building long-term relationships with institutional clients and their advisers. 

Prior to this, Evans spent four years at Insight Investment in London, having begun her career with roles at Macquarie and Permanent Trustee in Sydney, Australia

Steve Haswell, head of distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at MIM, says: “Gillian will be an excellent addition to the team as we continue to build out our capabilities in the UK, Europe and Middle East.”

MIM, which is part of the Macquarie Group, manages $263 billion (€240 billion) in assets.
