Investment consultancy Bfinance has made two new appointments to its investment team. Witold Witkiewicz takes the role of director in private markets and John Amoasi the role of senior associate in fixed income.
Witkiewicz joins from European real estate debt platform Aeriance Investments, where he was a portfolio manager with responsibility for a discretionary long/short account of global real estate investment trusts (REITs) equities.
Prior to that he was head of European credit at Woodbourne Investment Management, a US based hedge fund focused on global real estate securities.
Witkiewicz has 15 years of experience in real estate debt and securities markets from both the buy and sell side and has published research on real estate cycles and portfolio allocations.
Amoasi joins Bfinance from Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London, where he worked as a product manager covering multi-sector and absolute return fixed income strategies.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, Amoasi was an account associate at investment management firm Pimco.
Both positions are newly created roles, in response to Bfinance’s business expansion.
Recent research from Bfinance found that gaining alpha does not have to come with higher cost charges for investors.
