Barings opens Switzerland Office

Baring Asset Management has opened an office in Switzerland and appointed Véronique Fournier to the newly created role of head of Switzerland and global head of private banking.

Fournier will be based at the asset manager’s new office in Geneva and report to Angus Woolhouse, global head of distribution, and Oliver Morath, head of sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Fournier joins the firm from Schroder Investment Management, where she was relationship director at the global financial institutions group. 

She previously held a number of senior business development positions at Morley Fund Management, which is now Aviva Global Investors.
