Neuberger Berman launches global bond absolute return fund

Neuberger Berman has launched an absolute return global bond fund, sitting under its Ireland-domiciled Ucits fund umbrella, the Neuberger Berman Investment Funds.

The Neuberger Berman Global Bond Absolute Return Fund launched with $42 million (€31.1 million) of assets under management and targets an annual return of 4% above cash over the medium to long-term.

Co-managers Jon Jonsson and Andy Johnson aim to avoid persistent macro or thematic biases in the portfolio while targeting a low beta to fixed income markets over a full market cycle.

This process is currently deployed in the management of both benchmark-relative and unconstrained strategies in the US.
