Heartwood unveils Defensive Multi Asset fund

Heartwood Investment Management has made a new addition to its multi asset range, the CF Heartwood Defensive Multi Asset fund.

Martin Perry, the manager, seeks to preserve the capital value of a portfolio by investing in lower risk assets, such as government bonds. Perry will also aim to get exposure to other asset classes like high quality corporate bonds, commercial property and equities.

All six funds in Heartwood’s multi asset range are structured as a Non-Ucits retail scheme. Heartwood said this provided greater investment flexibility than a Ucits vehicle, but offered the same level of protection to UK investors.
