Julius Baer promotes Durlacher to London CEO

Durlacher 410David Durlacher (pictured) has been promoted to chief executive officer of Julius Baer International’s UK division.

Durlacher succeeds Adam Horowitz, the current chief executive of Julius Baer International, who is to retire. He will be responsible for Julius Baer activities in London and Dublin.

Durlacher already leads a significant part of Julius Baer’s UK business, with a seat on the executive committee and directorship on the firm’s board.

Durlacher joined Julius Baer in 2013, when the firm merged with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management UK.

Julius Baer’s total client assets amounted to 385 billion Swiss francs (€348.3 billion) as of October 2015, including 297 billion Swiss francs of assets under management.
