Geneva-based Pictet Asset Management has appointed Niall Quinn as global head of institutional business, excluding Japan.
Based in London, Quinn’s role will begin in March 2016. The appointment follows the retirement of Christoph Lanter, who served with Pictet for 17 years.
Quinn has over 20 years of experience in the asset management industry. Most recently, he served as managing director of Eaton Vance Management International, where he was responsible for all the firm’s institutional business development.
At the end of the third quarter last year, Pictet Asset Management had assets under management of €134 billion.
