Pimco poaches Man Group chief executive

Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Roman, current chief executive officer of hedge fund Man Group, is to join Pimco as chief executive in November this year. Roman, CEO at Man Group since February 2013, will step down from the firm's board on August 31 and join Pimco on November 1 at the firm’s Newport Beach, California, headquarters.
