Ipes appoints chief financial officer

Fund administrator Ipes, which provides outsourced services to private equity firms in Europe, has appointed Adrian Gardner as chief financial officer (CFO).

Gardner, a chartered accountant, was recently CFO of International Personal Finance, a FTSE 250 financial services firm.

He began his career at PwC and then spent 13 years at Lazard Asset Management, latterly as a managing director in the telecoms, media and telecommunications team.

Gardner has also served as CFO at pharmaceutical firm ProStrakan, PA Consulting and RSM Tenon (now known as RSM UK).

Gardner has been a director of software and services provider Amdocs since 1998 and is currently chairman of the audit committee.

Chris Merry, Ipes chief executive officer, said “Adrian brings a wealth of experience from a variety of financial and professional services businesses and will be a great asset to our team.”
