Hermes boosts fixed income team

Hermes Investment Management has expanded its fixed income team with two hires in London.

Stephane Michel has been appointed senior portfolio manager and will report to Andrew Jackson, head of fixed income. Previously he was founder and managing director at Essem4.

Andrew Lennox has been appointed asset backed securities portfolio manager and will report to Vincent Nobel, head of asset-based lending.

He joins from BlackRock where he was a senior portfolio manager in the European asset-backed securities team.

Andrew Jackson said the appointments would allow Hermes to develop its offerings to pension funds and other long-term institutional clients.

The appointments to the newly created positions bring the fixed income team to 26 members.
