Hambro makes sales double hire

UK-based asset management firm J O Hambro Capital Management has strengthened its intermediary sales team with the appointments of Helme Harrison (pictured) and Bryan Horne as sales managers.

Harrison will work on coverage of London-based discretionary wealth managers. She joins the firm from BNY Mellon, where she worked as a UK intermediary investment director.

Horne, who joins the firm from Investec, will cover intermediary relationships in Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland.

Gavin White, Hambro’s head of UK intermediary sales, said that the appointments “will allow us to provide more focused distribution and exceptional client service to intermediaries across the UK”.

Hambro currently has £14.7 billion (€16.4 billion) of assets under management within its UK and Ireland-registered open-ended investment company fund range. Hambro’s total assets under management are £29.2 billion.
