Mirabaud Asset Management has launched a fund investing in global high yield bonds.
A sub-fund of its Luxembourg Sicav, the Global High Yield Bond fund aims to combine income and capital gains over a full investment cycle by investing primarily in corporate issuers.
Andrew Lake, who joined Mirabaud from Aviva Investors in November last year, will manage the new fund using a flexible and active approach.
“This flexible approach aims to seek out and exploit relative value opportunities across markets, sectors and individual companies,” Lake says. “All of this is encompassed by a thorough analysis and ongoing monitoring of risk by the various high yield specialists across Mirabaud.”
Over the past year, the asset manager has strengthened its asset management team in London and added to its fund range. Among the recent fund launches are a global emerging markets equity fund and a dynamic allocation fund.
