Asset management firm Allspring Global Investments has appointed Annette Lege to the executive leadership team as chief financial officer.
Lege will join the firm in May, reporting to Allspring’s President, Kate Burke. Based in the firm’s Charlotte headquarters, she will succeed Allspring’s current chief financial officer, Molly McMillin, who will transition to a new role within the firm.
In this role, Lege will lead Allspring’s global finance strategy, team, and operations, collaborating closely with the executive team to ensure financial alignment, discipline and strategic guidance for growth.

Lege brings over 30 years of financial services and asset management expertise to the company. Previously, she served as CFO at ProShares, overseeing finance, HR and corporate facilities. Before that, she spent nearly three decades at Invesco.
The company has made several investments in its capabilities and senior hires to the team since inception including the hiring of a chief legal officer, chief technology officer, head of strategic initiatives, heads of US and international distribution and several senior distribution hires.
