Fons Lute trades BlackRock for Russell Investments

Fons LuteRussell Investments has appointed Fons Lute to the newly created position of client portfolio manager in its multi-asset division.

Lute will be responsible for advising clients across Northern Europe on multi-asset investment strategies.

He joins from BlackRock, where he worked from October 2012 to February 2016 as managing director, managing multi-asset portfolios for institutional clients.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Lute held a number of positions with firms in the Netherlands, including Cyrte Investments and Blue Sky Group.

Between 2008 and 2010, he was managing director of alternative strategies at PGGM, which recently entered into a deal with Legal & General Capital to purchase a build-to-rent development site in Bristol, United Kingdom.

Russell Investments manages assets of $237.3 (€214.3) billion.
