Cyril Meilland has been appointed head of investor relations for Amundi in the run up to the group’s initial public offering.
The firm is to be floated before the end of the year, depending on market conditions, leading part owner Societe Generale to consider selling its 20% share in the business.
Prior to joining Amundi, Meilland was responsible for research on European banks at Kepler Cheuvreux, and has also previously led investor relations at BNP Paribas.
Meilland began his career at Banque Indosuez (now Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank), working in the finance department before becoming an equity sell-side analyst.
Amundi has assets under management of more than €950 billion worldwide, as at March 31, 2015.
